"your Influence are your roots, if they are bad, then most likely your seeds will be bad as well."

a quote i made up to go with the painting, its about an apple tree that so happens to be growing in a cemetery that's grounds has been littered with just about every thing bad, needles, drugs, bottles, bones and TV's, all of these in which the tree's roots have grown into that has spoiled it's fruit, making them black with a shade of red. skull apples.

this painting has pretty much boosted my confidence in painting more, im pretty impressed with the sky and how well the black contrast of the tree and foreground fits in.

painted on a fairly large white canvas, with black/white and red acrylic paint . total time to complete, 7 hours 23 minutes, in 2 sessions.

This is really good 8D And I adore the symbolism and idea behind it :3 The details on this are GREAT. I LOVE THAT SKY!! I like that the main lighting is from behind, which gives the graves/crosses a very eerie, almost glowy look to them :3 Those many, many roots must have taken forever haha! Evul needlesssssssssss U8 I like Tvs though XD THEY SHOW ME THINGS LIKE ADVENTURE TIME. AND THOSE LOVELY, LOVELY COMMERCIALS ABOUT FAST FOOD MILKSHAKES AND ICE CREAMS TOPPED WITH EVERYTHING FROM PEANUTS AND FUDGE TO HAMSTERS AND BANDAIDS /da fuck. I'm glad you stuck to mainly monochrome for this :3 It really makes the few splashes of red pop! ...I'm sorry though, but if I ever came across a grave tree with an eyeball, I'd be unable to stop myself from poking it
